Part of being a Student Leader includes arriving early to HSM gatherings on Sunday Nights for a weekly Student Leadership meeting. Will you be able to make this meeting most weeks? *

Expectations for a Student Leader *

Being a Student Leader who is a disciple of Christ is a privilege and a responsibility. By checking the boxes below, you as a prospective Student Leader, are committing to the following:

Attending weekly Student Leadership meetings and other trainings, meetings, retreats and bonding activities from May 2025-May 2026

Committing to be a part of ALL Student Leadership activities to the best of my ability; I will make my SL commitment a priority in my schedule

Serving consistently in your role and communicating absences in advance

Regularly attending High School gatherings and inviting others to join you

Living and behaving in a way that reflects Christ in and outside of church (including what you post on social media, how you dress, etc.)

Being open to correction/accountability from Hillside Student Ministry leaders (actions, speech, dress, social media, etc.)

Attending a main worship gathering at Hillside at least 3 times a month

Completing assigned projects (outside reading, scripture memorization, etc.)

Consistently diving into God’s word and letting the Holy Spirit transform you

Developing a consistent prayer life
